Tamminiitty Oy has joined the MAKE in Finland ecosystem, bringing expertise in metal industry manufacturing and contract production to the network. Established in 2013, the company serves Finnish metal industry companies by manufacturing products and components at its own production facilities in Köyliö, Finland. Tamminiitty specialises in preliminary and contract manufacturing and operates approximately 7,000 m² of production facilities with around 50 employees. The company provides end-to-end manufacturing services within its own facilities, covering the production process from raw blanks to finished, surface-treated products. Through these capabilities, Tamminiitty contributes practical manufacturing expertise and knowledge of different production techniques to the industrial value chain. Production runs on a three-shift basis, supported by an organisation and production structure designed for this operating model.
Kalle Airisto, Chairman of the Board at Tamminiitty Oy, explains the company’s motivation for joining the ecosystem:
“We joined the Make in Finland network to enhance our expertise through collaboration with other industry players and to share our own knowledge regarding various manufacturing techniques. It must be noted, however, that we have not been able to participate in events as much as we would have liked so far, but we aim to improve our engagement in this area.
